Aurèle Lapointe and his son Kevin own 400 heads of cattle, including 200 lactating cows. They grow 780 acres of hay, 230 acres of corn silage, and 190 acres of wheat, oats and peas.
Representing the third and fourth generation of Ferme Donold Lapointe et Fils Inc., Aurèle and Kevin follow in their predecessor’s footsteps. The farm was founded by Léo Lapointe in the early 1950s on 2e Rang, a country road in Lambton.
Fast forward to today, it’s bustling with projects! This year, Aurèle and Kevin are having a mechanical workshop built and expanding their cow bedding warehouse. As they did countless times before, they retained the services of Michel Bolduc from Constructions Agrico Inc. Both appreciate Michel for his expertise and the quality of his work.
He knows how to analyze the situation, listen to their needs, explain the options and help them make informed decisions. Time and time again, he was able to achieve an optimal farm building layout—from the construction of a milking room in 2006, a machinery storage building and wood shaving warehouse in 2009, a feeding room in 2010, and a cold-environment barn in 2012 to the loose housing barn expansion in 2017 and renovations to the old barn and calf nursery in 2018.
Michel Bolduc took the helm of family business Constructions Agrico Inc. in the early 2000s. Recently, he entrusted part of the company to David Fortin, who has been his right-hand man for over 15 years. Just like Michel, David never compromises on quality! Both owners value a family approach with a human touch. Their work builds on a foundation of trust, closeness and passion for the trade.
Constructions Agrico Inc. is located on Chemin de l’Aéroport in Lambton and operates across Quebec. In addition to its thirty-some full-time employees, the company hires several specialized subcontractors to effectively meet customers’ various needs.
Constructions Agrico Inc. delivers prompt, personalized turn-key services for every stage of construction, renovation or expansion, from design to completion. This even includes excavation and foundation work. As the Agrico team specializes in agriculture, they understand farmers’ reality and can tailor each project to their specific needs.
To mark Constructions Agrico’s 25th anniversary, loyal customers Aurèle and Kevin Lapointe wrote a heartfelt testimonial for Michel. Michel’s team also wanted to acknowledge his outstanding dedication and inspiring journey with the company.
Testimonial:
“Over the past two decades, we completed a ton of projects with Constructions Agrico! We built, renovated, expanded, repaired and more. For each project, we sat down with Michel to discuss our options. Given his experience, knowledge and connections, Michel is a valuable asset for projects big and small. He’s aware of how things are done, analyzes many factors and always finds the best way to carry out our projects. He’s a trustworthy fellow with an experienced team that takes pride in a job well done. It’s a pleasure to work with Michel, and above all, he puts our mind at ease. He listens to our concerns. We feel that he delivers on projects as if they were his own, and he’s not shy about explaining our options. This makes it easy for us to make an informed decision.
Throughout our collaboration with Constructions Agrico, Michel became much more than a contractor. We consider him a friend, a trustworthy and generous fellow who’s always there to help us when we need him. His wittiness and sense of humour make him quite fun to be around. What’s more, he makes the best rum and coke at barn parties!
All these reasons led us to trust him once again for two more projects this year. Here’s to many more years of success for Constructions Agrico!”

Tribute:
Tribute to Constructions Agrico for its 25th anniversary
We would like to acknowledge the man who’s the soul and driving force of our company: Michel Bolduc.
Michel is an entrepreneur like no other. No matter the time and weather or how tired he feels, he rises up to challenges with the same dedication and thoroughness—and especially with all his heart. He’s passionate about his work and knows the trade inside and out, going far beyond what is expected from a contractor. Merely “doing” is not enough for him. He understands, anticipates and gets involved.
Michel is also a great listener and a humble man, who’s never afraid of admitting that an alternate solution would be best for the project or customer. He keeps his word, and his promises are strong as steel.
He’s the very definition of a workaholic, not because he does too much but because he truly loves his job, which gives him a sense of pride and duty. Michel is unstoppable due to his passion, and his dedication is truly extraordinary.
He always gives far more than he receives, without expecting anything in return. He is the soul of Constructions Agrico and sets an inspiring example for all his colleagues.
As our company proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary, we have no choice but to acknowledge how Michel permanently marked its history. And that’s just the beginning. Our shareholders have several ambitious projects in mind, driven by the same passion and willingness to always push further.
On behalf of your family, friends, customers, suppliers and the subcontractors you have met along the way, we simply want to say, “Thank you.” Thanks for being the entrepreneur, friend and good-hearted man that you are.
